Introduction
These general sales conditions (hereinafter “General Conditions”) govern the sale of food products (hereinafter “Products”) through the website Oleificio Russo.
The Site is managed by Oleificio Russo S.r.l. (hereinafter “Seller” or “Oleificio Russo”), with registered office in Belpasso (CT), Via Papa Giovanni Paolo II n. 9, tax code and VAT number 05069080876, registered in the Catania Companies Register with REA number CT-340786, fully paid-up share capital of €90,000.00.

Article 1 – Subject of the contract
This online sales contract (hereinafter “Contract”) entails the Seller selling and the Customer purchasing the Products indicated and described on the Site.
Article 2 – Acceptance of the general conditions
The General Conditions are published on the Site and can be consulted at any time before placing an order. Placing an order by the Customer implies full and unconditional acceptance of the General Conditions.
Article 3 – Product information
Information about the Products, including images, technical specifications, and descriptions, is provided on the Site for informational purposes and may be subject to changes without notice.
The Seller is committed to providing complete and correct information about the Products in compliance with current regulations. However, the Seller is not responsible for errors or inaccuracies in the Product information resulting from negligence or fault of the Customer.
The essential characteristics of the Products are described in the product sheets on the Site. Images and videos of the Products are for illustrative purposes and are not contractually binding.
The Seller undertakes to provide the Consumer with all necessary information to enable the Consumer to make an informed purchase, in accordance with European Regulation 1169/2011. In particular, the product sheets include the following information:
– Name of the food product;
– Physical state of the product and specific treatment it has undergone;
– List of ingredients, including allergens;
– Net quantity;
– Storage and usage conditions;
– Expiry date or minimum storage term;
– Name, business name, and address of the manufacturer or importer;
– Origin or provenance of the food product.
The Consumer may request further information about the Products from the Seller by sending an email to info@oleificiorusso.it.
Article 4 – Prices and shipping costs
The offer and sale of products through the website www.oleificiorusso.it constitute a distance contract governed by Chapter I, Title III (articles 45 and following) of Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206 (“Consumer Code”) and Legislative Decree 9 April 2003, n. 70, containing regulations on electronic commerce.
All prices are expressed in Euros and include VAT. The online availability of the products is real, and the prices refer to single units of products.
Shipping costs are added to the purchase price of the Products and vary depending on the country of destination and the shipping method chosen. Shipping costs are clearly indicated during the checkout process.
Currently, we offer free shipping within Italy for orders not less than €100.00.
Article 5 – Orders and payments
Orders can be placed through the Site. The Customer selects the Products to purchase, adds them to the cart, and proceeds to checkout. During checkout, the Customer must provide their shipping and payment information.
Order fulfillment
Orders are processed within 72 hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) following order acceptance, which is communicated to the customer in real time via email.
Minimum order
Oleificio Russo S.r.l. does not accept orders less than €60.00.
Payments
The Seller accepts payments through the following methods:
– Credit card
– STRIPE
– Bank transfer
Payment must be made at the time of placing the order.
Credit Card
Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted.
In the case of payment by credit card, the total amount due will be charged at the time of order transmission, which coincides with the conclusion of the online contract. The credit card data (card number, cardholder, expiration date, security code) are encrypted and transmitted to the payment processor. Oleificio Russo does not access or store this data.
Payment via STRIPE
When paying through the STRIPE system, the user will be redirected to the www.stripe.com site, where they will make the payment for the Products according to the procedures provided and governed by Stripe. The data entered on the Stripe site will be processed directly by Stripe and will not be transmitted or shared with Oleificio Russo, which does not store the credit card data linked to the Stripe account.
In the case of payment via Stripe, the total amount due will be charged at the time of order transmission, which coincides with the conclusion of the online contract.

Please send the transfer receipt via email to info@oleificiorusso.it within 72 hours of the order, under penalty of cancellation of the same. The order will be processed exclusively upon viewing the transaction and not upon receipt of the receipt. The receipt is requested only to consider the order reliable.
Invoicing and Receipt
For orders placed by individuals, a copy of the order and a receipt will be included in the package. In the case of purchases by VAT holders, an invoice will follow via email upon delivery.
Important note: In accordance with current tax laws, no invoice will be issued to individual businesses and/or self-employed professionals unless the Tax Code of the interested party is provided in addition to the VAT number.
Article 6 – Product delivery
Products will be shipped within 72 hours of receiving the payment for the order. The actual delivery time may vary depending on the destination country and the chosen shipping method.
The Seller delivers the Products to the address provided by the Customer during checkout.
Upon delivery, the Customer must check the integrity of the Products and sign the delivery receipt. If the package, at the time of delivery, shows signs of leaks and/or presumed such, visible defects, or tampering, the Customer must accept the goods by noting “accepted with reservation of verification of the contents” on the courier’s delivery note. Subsequently, upon opening the package, if any breakages are found, please contact us via email at info@oleificiorusso.it. We will refund the corresponding amount and/or alternatively arrange to collect the damaged product at our expense. It should be noted that except for isolated cases, our goods always arrive in perfect condition.
The Seller cannot be held responsible if the purchased products are shipped to an incorrect address provided by the Customer. Upon the Customer’s request, the Seller may attempt to reship the product to a new address. However, any additional shipping and/or storage costs incurred due to a Customer error will be fully charged to the Customer.
The Seller is not responsible for delivery delays caused by force majeure events or circumstances beyond its control.
Article 7 – Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to articles 52 and following of the Consumer Code, the user who qualifies as a consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract of the Product, without penalties and without specifying the reason, within the legal term of 14 days.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must send a written communication to the Seller at the email addresses indicated on the website.
In case of withdrawal, the Seller will refund the Customer the price of the purchased Products, excluding shipping costs. The Consumer must return the Products to the Seller within 14 days from the date of withdrawal notification. The cost of returning the Products is borne by the Consumer.
The Seller will refund the Consumer the price of the Products and delivery costs within 14 days from the date of receiving the returned Products. This period will be used by the Seller to check that the returned Products are intact as shipped at the time of purchase. Any damages to the returned Products will be charged to the Customer.
The user is responsible only for the decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling the Product other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the Product. The Product must be kept, handled, and inspected with normal diligence and returned intact, complete in all its parts, perfectly functioning, and accompanied by its packaging.
If the withdrawal has not been exercised in accordance with the applicable regulations, it will result in the termination of the contract and, consequently, will not give any right to a refund.
It is reminded that the right of withdrawal is excluded in the cases provided for by article 59 of the Consumer Code and, in particular, concerning contracts concluded through the site, regarding the supply of (i) goods made to measure or clearly personalized; (ii) goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly; (iii) sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygienic or health protection reasons and are opened after delivery.
Disputes
For any legal dispute, in accordance with current regulations, the competent court is the one of the consumer’s residence.
Article 8 – Legal warranty
In case of lack of conformity, the Customer can request free repair or replacement of the Products. If repair or replacement is not possible or excessively burdensome, the Customer may request a price reduction or contract termination.
Article 9 – Limitation of liability
The Seller is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Products, their non-delivery, or any other event beyond its control.
The Seller’s liability is in any case limited to the price of the purchased Products.
